Just wanted to let you all know that we appreciate all of your kind thoughts and prayers for Samantha. Her surgery went well – the doctor said he cleared out her neck! He took out the entire thyroid, 2 lower para thyroids and all the lymph nods as most of them were enlarged and all over the lower para thyroids. Samantha did amazing. She looks great and is sleeping. She was up most of the night as the doctors and nurses were in every hour all night long! So it was impossible for her to sleep. She had blood work done this morning and it looked good. We brought her home around noon and she has been sleeping all day. She woke once to eat a little and went back to sleep.
I will try to get some stamping done over the weekend – but I am not sure as I didn’t get any sleep last night either in the hospital and today I have been trying to catch up on some chores. I am sure as soon as my head hits the pillow tonight I will be out.
Thank you all again for all your love, kind thoughts and prayers. It is wonderful having such a caring group of friends.
