Sorry…I haven’t posted any stamped samples lately. I thought ‘today’ I am going to stamp! Yeah! Not.
You can see by the picture that I was busy but stamping was not what I was doing. My Dad had a wonderful crop of peppers this summer!
SO I spent many hours cutting fresh peppers to freeze.
Peppers are great in the freezer and so easy to do as all you have to do is clean, cut and freeze them.
Here is a picture of some I did. I left some whole to use as stuff peppers.
My fingers are like prunes from washing the peppers. I cut and clean them then let them sit to drain and dry.
I will bag them in freezer bags and off to the freezer they will go.
Some times if I have onions I will cut them up too and add them to the bag with the cut peppers so they are ready to go for a quick dinner of sausage and peppers, pepper steak, or fajittas.
While I stood at the sink cutting peppers today dreaming of stamping I had a great view of the wonderful flowers my friend Joan sent me for my birthday last week. Aren’t they lovely. I was so surpised when I got home from work and was greeted with this surprise. I felt so special.
Here they are in my living room the day they came. The lilys have all opened now and are just gorgeous. The flowers are in the shape of a topiary! A very original flower arrangement.
My life is blessed with so many wonderful friends.
Love to you Joan!
