Using Your Designer Series Paper

Using your Designer Series Paper is a good thing!

If you are like me you bought the Designer Series Paper because you liked it.  Once you got it home you feel in love with it! Right?  It happens to me all the time…then I don’t want to use it because it will be all gone, so I put it away!!

My Problem is I am hoarding craft supplies.

WHY am I putting my beautiful Designer Series Paper away?  I won’t be able to see it or enjoy it.  It’s all closed up in a cabinet and I am not enjoying it….but I have it!!

It’s not bringing me any joy if I can’t see it.  I am not enjoying it and I am not using it on projects so others can enjoy it.  Why did I purchase it then?

I have come to realize that I was purchasing supplies like Designer Series Paper and never using them.   As a result I had no more room for the new supplies.  I was becoming a hoarder!!  OMG!  My Crafting Space was getting so cluttered with all these supplies that I was not using.  I really hated the clutter too!  I wasn’t a Crafter I was a collector of Craft Supplies!!

And if I was honest with myself I didn’t even want to craft anymore in there.  I didn’t feel very creative in my cluttered room.  FOR that reason alone I knew I had to change my way of thinking.

The Solution to my problem was to start to USE the beautiful and fun supplies I was purchasing.  I needed to start using my Designer Series Paper.  Stop hoarding them!  They are too pretty be stored.

Yesterday I got out some beautiful Designer Series Paper and covered a couple of ugly notebooks.  I had purchased these notebooks years ago so that I could cover them with the beautiful Designer Series Paper I had.  LOL – that I never wanted to use up!!

Take a look at these covered notebooks and tell me what you think.   Wouldn’t you like to use these gorgeously covered notebooks over some ugly marbled store bought notebook?

The Designer Series Paper I used on these two notebooks has long since retired.  I have been hoarding my DSP for quite some time.

I am very confident that once you have seen the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog you will fall in love with all the NEW Designer Series Paper in there just as I have.  There will always be MORE DSP to purchase to replenish our STASH!

Go ahead, start using all that DSP you are hoarding.  I know I am.  I have to make room for all the gorgeous NEW DSP I want to purchase!!

I used Stampin’ Up! Botanical Bliss Stamp set and matching Dies for my tags on each of the Notebooks.
