Thanksgiving Blessings Place Setting ~
A quick post this morning as I received a lot of requests for directions on how to make the Thanksgiving Blessings place setting.
It is very simple – I started with a piece of card stock that was 11" x 5". Score and fold in half. Trim off about 1" or so off one end, score that end at 1" and fold over to make you flap. Use corner rounder punch on all four corners. If you are decorating the front – I used Designer Series papers and adhered them to the front under the flap. Measure and mark for holes – use crop-a-dile to punch them out. I used one long piece of grosgrain ribbon starting from the back and pulling both ends – one through each hole on the sides. then stitched it up to the top. It is kind of like a blanket stitch if you are familiar with sewing. You can not see it but there is a hole under the flap and then come through the hole in the flap and tie your knot.
The poem was not my original as I have stated and I just printed it off my computer in a Font I liked onto Whisper White.
Quick and easy. I am hoping my directions did not confuse you – I tend to get wordy. If you need some visual directions – just let me know and I will try to post them.
I can't wait to post the project I have been working on all week. It has been taking me a long time because this week has been busy for me and I haven't had much stamping time to work on it. I promise you will love it!!!!!!!
Enjoy and have a stampin' good day!
