To create your faux lattice you start with a piece of Whisper White card stock and pick at least 3 colors(from the Stampin' Pastels)  to work with.  Take your sponge daubers and apply each of the 3 colors randomly until the Whisper White card stock is covered. 

Then take your chalked piece and put it into your cutter at an angle (first take all blades out) then take the eraser from the Stampin' Pastels and run it up and down where the blade should go a few times.  Move your paper over and repeat.  Turn paper and repeat to create the lattice.

Those in class just loved this technique.  Each and every card was different.
