Have you ordered the Accents & Elements kits from Stampin’ Up! yet? If you have you know that they come in a great CD tin just waiting to be decorated. If you haven’t had a chance to order one of these wonderful kits you might want to try one. They are on page 178 of the Fall & Winter 2007 Catalog and come in different designs and styles. The kits are die cuts that have adhesive on the back of each piece and the best part is they are repositionable die cuts. If you need to move them around on your project you can. Once you have them where you want them they will become permanent.
After you have used all your accents and elements up you are left with a great tin!
Here is what I did with my tin today.
I cut Designer Series Paper (which is the November Promotion going on now) to fit in the top and bottom of the tin. Adhered them in. Then layered matching CS and decorated! I took my Crop – A – Dile and punched two holes into the rim and tied ribbon! It makes a great hanging frame.
I have not had time to yet – but I will decorate the outside of the tin so that it will make a great presentation when I give it as a gift!
I will post the photos of the outside as soon as I complete it. I was so happy with the way the inside came out I quickly found a photo to put in so I could post it for you to see.
I would love to see how you are using your tins from the Accents and Elements kits once you have used all the die cuts.
