I have been looking for a cute homemade album to make my God Daughter for her first born.
I spotted these envelope books on my friend Patty's Blog. She got the idea from her friend Sharon.
I just had to try one and it turns out to be so cute! I think my God Daughter is going to love it.
Here it is with no pictures.
I used 4 Stampin' Up! Long Notes Envelopes and 3 card stock pages along with 4 inserts for the envelopes.
This album was created using Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kit – Special Delivery Boy. I love the paper and self adhesive die cuts in this kit.
Check out the photo below for a better look~
This is bound together with the bind-it-all.
I think the best feature of this mini album is the pockets with the slide out pages!
I used the tab punch to create pulls for the pages that are inserted into the Envelope pockets.
I haven't put my pictures in it yet but the first pull out is a die cut adhesive from Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kit ~ Special Delivery Boy.
Have you tried the Simply Scrappin' Kits yet? If you haven't you don't know what you are missing.
Each Kit includes:
2 sheets each (3 designs) 6" x 12" self adhesive die cuts (6 sheets)
3 sheets each 12" x 12" double sided paper (6 sheets)
2 sheets each 12" x 12" textured card stock (8 sheets)
They have 10 different designed kits to choose from. You get all that for $19.95 plus shipping and handling.
They are great for scrapbooking because you get so much and everything coordinates in the kit and you can add to it by using your SU supplies you already have that match.
But better than just using it for scrapbooks – you can use them to create beautiful cards quickly!
Later I will post some cards I made in a matter of minutes using a Simply Scrappin' Kit so don't forget to check back.
