Gift Certificates

I am asked often if I have gift certificates that customers can purchase for friends.  Yes I certainly do.  I was able to stamp for a few minutes today in the mist of getting my kids ready for the first day of school – tomorrow!  Oh how I wish I would be home to actually enjoy the quiet and maybe stamp a little but I have to work. 

Yesterday we spent the day visiting Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.  What a beautiful day to be on the River.  We had a great time and did a little research on our grandparents. We found the Ship’s Manifest for all of our grandparents who come over from Europe and went through Ellis Island.  We even saw pictures of some of the ships they came on.  It was really interesting and very cool to actually be there – where our grandparents first experienced America.  I often wonder what they were thinking those first minutes coming off the ship.  I wish I had thought to ask them.

Back to my bit of stamping today.  I was able to work on some Gift Certificates.  I like to make them ‘ready to go’ so that the person purchasing them can really give them as is.                                                                                     
Ingredients:
Card Stock: Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, Purely Pomegranate, & Whisper White
Ink:  Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, $ Purely Pomegranate
Stamp Set:  Priceless, Hugs & Wishes
Accessories:Wild Wasabi double-stitched ribbon, White gel pen

Below is the card opened so you can see the Certificate.  The inside bottom flap was scored at 1 1/2" and folded up so the gift certificate slid in.
