Hi Everyone ~
Hope you are all enjoying a gorgeous Saturday Morning. Scrapbook Saturday will be delayed today until later tonight. I am going to try to get it posted tonight.
Yesterday my friends and I drove up to the beautiful state of Vermont. I absolutely love it up here. We go about 3 or 4 times a year to attend a Ceramic Retreat. There is an amazing artist in Bradford VT ~ Bruce Locke ~ and he offers these 'ceramic retreats' a few times a year that are so worth the road trip.
His work is like no other and what is better then spending the weekend painting with friends sharing delicious homemade food. Did I mention he cooks as well as he paints. Bruce imports is paints and slip from Italy and I have used no better. I have been learning/working with him for about 15 years now and have learned so much. The paints are commercial paints and what the artists use in Italy for the pottery/ceramics they create to sell commercially. I have met with owner of this company has he has come to the USA many times to meet with Bruce and to visit their Italian tile company here in NJ.
I am certified with many paint companies to teach including this Italian paint line.
Any hoot it is about time for us to get over to the studio and get started.
I didn't want to leave this morning without posting a card for you ~
I received such a great response for everyone regarding my embossed butterflies that I wanted to show you another card I created with embossed vellum butterflies. For this card I used the Butterfly Punch!
Here is a close us to see the dimension the vellum overlay creates.
I am having so much fun embossing on vellum.
Enjoy your day – Happy Stamping ~
