I have said it before I love Mondays – I look at Mondays as a fresh start. This morning I woke up to sunshine 🙂
My life is not all sunshine and roses but that is okay. I thank God every day for my blessings and my trials. I don't walk along and for that I am grateful.
Today I want to show you a couple more cards I made for my friend Claudia. I will miss seeing her every week. She is one of my friends who has taught me to trust in God that He will never forsake me. As sad as I am to see her move I know God has great plans for her. She will continue to teach God's Word where ever He leads her.
Here are a few more cards I created for her. I know she will put them to good use.
I call these cards my Scripture cards. They vocal point is the scripture stamped on the card front.
I used a retired set I have always loved from Stampin' Up! to create a soft background. You can use any stamp for create the backgound – just use a soft color and stamp off once before stamping on your card. I also used my spritz tool to add some splatter of color to the background also.
I love to create cards with scripture. Stampin' Up! has a few sets that contain scripture and I have suggested many times that they create a few more sets.

i would LOVE more scripture sets from SU! keep on asking, maybe they will listen eventually. (hmmmm, i see you hang onto retired sets the way i do … some of them just cannot be replaced with *new* stuff).
