It’s almost over…

Hi Everyone ~

How are you all doing after your Holiday Celebrations?  I must say they went by awful quickly.  I wish that we had a week to celebrate Christmas.  That way you really get to relax and enjoy everything.  Yup I would love that.

At least with Christmas falling on a Friday this year most of us had the next two days off.  That was nice.  Everyone here is doing well – we had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed time with Family and Friends. 

Today was the first day I got to spend a little time back in my stamp room since Christmas and it felt good!I have had this idea in my head since I took this picture back in August.  Then when the Holiday Mini came out and I spotted the gorgeous Specialty Designer Series Paper – Night & Day I knew that was the paper I was going to use. 

I had been saving this On Board Clipboard I purchased last year from Stampin' Up! (now retired – but they do still carry 2 other sizes that would work for this project just as well).

This picture was taken in August this year ~ the night we went out for my Birthday.  I just love it.  We used it for our family Christmas Cards this year.  I chopped off the bottom which had our Christmas wishes to everyone on it and matted it using Old Olive and Whisper White.

I covered the Clipboard with the Night & Day Specialty paper & added some ribbon to the clip at the top and around the photo.

The 2009 was cut out using the specialty paper, the Big Shot, & a numbers set I had purchased years ago with my old machine.
