Hi Everyone ~
I was talking to my niece last week and she was telling me that she has had about 10 weddings this past year. She is at that age were all her friends are getting married ~ late 20s early 30s. What fun themes she was telling me some of them have had. One was a surprise wedding! The bride and groom had invited everyone to their engagement party and surprised them with the announcement that they were getting married right then!
My mother would have killed me for sure if I did that.
It got me thinking that June is a popular month for weddings so I thought I would create a few items to give you some ideas.
Matchbox Big Shot die cute out of the Bridesmaid paper. Fill with a few chocolates and set one at each table setting!
This one was created with the Bag with Scallops and the same Bridesmaid DSP. I loved making the papers roses I thought that they would be perfect for this wedding favor.
You could use these for the wedding favor ~ filled with just about anything. Or I thought they would make great packaging for the gifts for the bridal party.
Using my craft ink pads I applied the color directly onto this wooden box. I let it dry overnight and then stamped the lid and attached the paper flower and leaves!
Apply the half pearls to the center of the flower and to the lid of the box as a knob.
You can fill this box with anything ~ one thought I had was a votive candle! How sweet would that be.
If you don't need to be making wedding favors but have been invited to a wedding ~ these would make gorgeous packaging for your gift. Put your gift in one of these beautiful packages and make the elegant card below to match it!
NOTE: the Bridesmaid Specialty Paper and the Bag with Scallops are all on the Last Chance List. Don't delay – Order Today!
