Look at what I created ~
If you look at these cards I used the Top Note die. What I did was take a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of card stock, fold it in half and laid it on the die so that the fold was just shy of the one edge. This gave me the fold.
I used the new Upsy Daisy stamp set on the front – it was stamped in versa mark and embossed with clear embossing powder.
This card is similar to the Blue one above. I used a quarter sheet of card stock in Old Olive, layered in Basic Black, and then Designer Series paper. The Top Note – note card is layered on top.
I just love the way they turned out.
What do you think?
For this card I used a full base card (instead of just a quarter of a sheet of card stock) making it a card on a card.
The flowers on the Top Note - note card were created using the pieces from the centers of the flowers that are on the Baskets and Blooms die. The green curved lines are cut from the Swirly Die. I just love the look of this card. I think it is my favorite.
Here is a close up of the front so you can see how it was put together.
In the picture below you can see I placed the piece from the Swirly Die next to the card I created. It is not the entire piece and I cut some off.
It is such a useful die to have. I can see me using it for cards and scrapbook pages.

Hi, I love your technique to make a notecard using the die. Did you once say I can use the Big Shot dies with the Cuttlebug machine? I’d love to be able to afford both machines but that’s not feasible right now. Thanks for the info.
