Private swap…

This is a 3 x 6 card I made for my friend Patty B.  We had a private swap!  What fun ~ if you are interested in having a private swap with me just send me an email.  I think that would be so much fun. 

If you don’t know what a swap is I can explain ~  It can really be done anyway the participants want.  You design a card or card front and swap it for a card or card front someone else has made. 

The swaps that go on at Stampin’ Up! events like convention, leadership, regional meetings, etc are on a bigger scale.  You make as many card fronts as you wish (most swaps you try to use layers and embellishments to make them special but easy enough to be duplicated) to bring to that event and everyone walks around swapping (handing out there card fronts in return for someone else’s card front).  Some people make hundreds of swaps.  The reason for swapping is so that you have a bunch of new ideas to inspire you!  It is so much fun seeing what others have created!

Back to my swap with Patty B. – you should take a look at her site – she has wonderful ideas and is a great inspiration for me.

She used my card as an inspiration for one of her cards in her latest Stamp-a-Stack!  I thought that was so cool!  Thanks Patty.
