New Craft Room

Have you been through a renovation?  Did you start from scratch?  I would love to hear how you designed you crafting space.  Big or small what are you storage solutions?

Work began on my craft room back in early October.  The much needed renovation is coming along.  Needed because our home was built in 1901 and we still had a few rooms where the wiring was not updated and were on the cold side because there was no insulation.

Emptying the room was not a small job!  Where do you put all your supplies…especially since 2 other rooms are being renovated at the same time.  I will spare you the details.  Here are a few pictures of how far we are now.  Wiring and insulation done.  Walls are back up and floor has been installed.  New windows in and even some trim is done.

Looking forward to designing the storage.  It’s not a big room so I need to be ‘crafty’ with my supply storage.

Please help me out with your solutions.  Any tips or advice you may have on storage is welcome.

~Do you store your paper vertically or horizontally?

~How do you store  your stamp sets, dies, punches?
