Happy Wednesday!
I am a little sad today even though Wednesdays are my favorite day of the week! Yesterday we took Matt back to college to begin his Spring Semester!
I find it hard to believe that he has finished half of his first year in college already? I can't. He had a good first semester and really liked his school and made a lot of new friends – which makes me feel good about dropping him yesterday. I know he will readjust there just fine. But will I ~ I will miss him! 🙁
It was great having him home for the past few weeks. It is a good feeling going to bed at night knowing everyone was home!
To get my mind off him and his leaving – I jumped right into some stamping! It is the BEST therapy for me.
I have been playing with the new Specialty Designer Series Paper – Sending Love.
This paper will give your designs an extra special shimmer ~ its designs have glitter on them! Each sheet shines with glittery designs on one side! Remember it is double sided so the other side will have a wonderful pattern as well.
Check out this card using the paper. I have used the flip side of the paper used on the background for the birds wings and the heart!
The paper is simply gorgeous. The Birds were punched out using the new extra large Two-Step Bird. This punch has 3 pieces: the bird, the birds wing and a branch with leaves attached. What a great value for just $15.95 (item #117191).
The heart is punched from the new Small Heart punch #117193 – $5.95. You can find the new punches on pages 10-11 in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
Note the sentiment Love You Much is from the stamp set Well Scripted on page #19 of the new Occasions Mini (#118601 clear mount – $14.95).
