Hi Stampers,
I am in love with the stamp set Incredible Like You for simple stamping. You can find it on page #21 of the Occasions Catalog.
Below is a quick look at the stamps in the set.
While I was getting ready for Valentine’s Day last Thursday I didn’t have a lot of time to create. I had seen a few samples of this stamp set used for Valentine’s Day. I love the sentiment I Adore You and new I wanted to use that on my card.
Looking at this set you can clearly see that there are no Valentine stamps, no hearts. Take another look and you will see the leaf stamp I used to create my hearts.
The first card I created was Super Simple Stamping. I used the In Color, Lipstick Red (Item # 147140) and the leaf stamps and stamp each half the the heart to create simple hearts. I love the heart the leaf creates, simple and sweet and goes with the sentiment I Adore You perfectly.
~Started out with 1/2 sheet of Whisper White card stock, Scored and folded in half.
~Stamped 3 hearts in Lipstick Red, stamped sentiment in Memento Black.
~Added a Jewel Rhinestone to the first heart and my card was complete. It could not be more simple!!
Simple Stamping taken up a notch…or two
~When I created the second card I added the Stitched Oval with my hearts and stamped sentiment on it and matted with the Lipstick scalloped oval. Added a bow and a few more Jewel Rhinestones and I was done.
Still simple stamping but stepped up a notch.
~The third card I duplicated the stamped sentiment oval with the bow, added an embossed layer using Country Floral Dynamic Texture Impressions Embossing Folder and used Lipstick Red card stock for my card base. I also added a Whisper White layer on the inside of this card as well. It makes it easier to write my message on.
Still simple stamping but stepped up a notch…or two
