for you…
Sorry I have not posted in a few days but if you live in the northeast as I do you know that the weather has been gorgeous! I spend a little time enjoying it this week trying to get my yard in order. We worked on my parents yard last weekend and made a dent there so we started on ours this week. Today we are even going back to my parents to do some more!
I think yards are a never ending job – but I can't complain because it is just so nice to be outside!
Ok – enough about my daily buzzz…
…more about stamping. I was busy stamping this week too. I had to make overdue Thank You cards for Samantha's Confirmation and for Matt and Sam's Birthdays.
Here is the thank you card I created for their Birthday. It is a postcard style and uses retired Stampin' Up! stamps.
I was thinking that with the "Last Chance" list coming out tomorrow I would kinda of pay tribute to some of the retired stamps I have. After all what is the reason we buy and keep retired stamps? Because we love them. And I do love them. There are some I will never part with.
I really love Basic Black and Sahara Sand together!
Simple simple card.
I rolled the jumbo wheel half off the Whisper White using Sahara Sand Classic Ink pad then stamped the Thank You sentiment (from another retired set) in Basic Black!
Layered on Basic Black and Sahara Sand and I was done.
All in all I had to make about 25 of them and I have to tell you it didn't even take me an hour!
Remember: Not every card has to open up!
DON'T FORGET – TOMORROW I WILL BE POSTING THE LAST CHANCE LIST! ORDER EARLY AS THE ACCESSORIES ARE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!! Call me if you have any questions!
