Hi Everyone and Happy Monday,
Hey, what do you say about those JETS! Anyone out there in Stamp Land like Football as much as I do. Here in NJ we have a two local teams to root for. I am a Giants fan (shhh don't tell the Jets). I had met almost all the Giant players that use to play in the 80's. They use to train where I attended college so I saw them all the time back then. But I was a fan for many years before that. I also like the Vikings too! Now the Jets train right here in the next town. My daughter babysits for one of the coaches – so GO JETS! BUT my son is a Steelers fan! And if you have been watching – next week's playoff game is Jets vs. Steelers. Should be an exciting game!
Enough game talk ~
I am so sorry it has taken me days to post. I have been having trouble with my computer and then with iPhoto where my pictures are stored on my computer. I still can't find them. They seem to have disappeared! I will have to wait until Mark gets home from a business trip. He is really with computers and hopefully will figure out how I made them disappear. I am sure it was something I did while working on my computer that messed everything up. I just don't know what that was.
I have my computer working again and what I decided to do for the 'quick fix' now was retake the pictures of some of the projects I had created and upload them again. That way I can post to my blog! It is just taking me forever!
The Valentine's Card I wanted to show you today is really a gift card. I had received one of these a few years back from a stamping friend and have wanted to recreate one. The one she gave me was for my birthday so it had a birthday theme going on.
I recreated it for Valentine's Day ~
This is the card ~ if you look close you can see the top flap is tucked under the Love. I had adhered the Love piece with Dimensionals so that it raised it up enough to be able to tuck the flap in and that is what holds this card shut.
Inside is an envelope that is sealed and cut to create 2 pockets. You can put money or a gift card in one and a note in the other. I created the note card you see above to fit in to one of the openings.
I hope you enjoyed this Gift Card and are inspired to create one for someone you love!
