Back in December I was going through the threads over at SplitCoast Stampers trying to find ideas for Christmas gifts to make for my family and friends. There is just a wealth of talented stampers and crafters who are so generous with their ideas and recipes. I spotted a recipe for Lotion! I wanted to give it a try as I have 3 sisters and 4 sister-in-laws. I thought this would be fun! It was getting close to December 25th and I had not purchased the necessary ingredients yet. I was on the SCS site again looking for the recipe to print it out and I spotted a post from a wonderful member who had purchased the Vitamin E Cream needed for the recipe but was not going to use it – "did anyone want it"? Naturally I quickly sent her an email saying OH YES! I would love to buy it from you and pay shipping.
Much to my surprise – she wanted to send it to me and not charge me!!!!!! Not even for the cost of the cream – not even for shipping. HOW sweet is she.
Well I received it that same week and I have to tell you it sat a few more days until I found time to create My Lotion! I was able to make 17 jars! I am hoping to get a photo of the jars and how cute they looked all packaged up. My husband – clever as he is – came up with a cute little poem for me to print on labels and attach to the package for them!
I just want to send a big Thank You to that awesome stampers that was so generous during a very busy time of year to send me the Vitamin E Cream. I sent her a thank you and a jar of the cream for her to use! I know she didn't have time to make it herself this year and wanted her to enjoy it.

I used the new heart punch from SU and punched a bunch of Riding Hood Red hearts and adhered them to the front of the Riding Hood Red card base.
A very simple and quick card but the tone on tone hearts give such a cool faux embossed effect.
