Hope you all had a nice Holiday weekend. Here the weather was beautiful and we had a relaxing holiday enjoying family and friends at my parents.
This week the kids will be going back to school and that always makes me a little sad (am I the only one that feels that way). I love the time they are home and we get to spend together. This summer they did both work. With us all working the summer just flew by. I still can't believe it is September already. Hope you all had a nice summer.
Here is a new set of cards I have been working on using our new Scallop Edge punch ~
One of the new Punches Stampin' Up! released last month was the Scallop Edge Punch. It is a quick and easy way to put a scalloped edge on your art work.
I used it on the bottom of this set of cards I created this week then layered it with Old Olive.
The flowers used on this project are retired, the butterfly is from the new set – Flight of the Butterfly.
As you know by now – I love to make sets of cards to give as gift. So I created 2 of each and made this great set of 6 cards that fit perfectly in this clear acetate box. I always stamp the envelopes to match. I just love the way that looks.
When you make cards do you make sets of cards of just one single card? Do you stamp the envelopes to match? Leave me a comment or email me. I would love to hear what you do.
Enjoy our day ~

I do stamp the envelopes to match and I try to use one stamp set to make 2 or 3 different cards. I haven’t done too many sets but here is an example of a set I did http://gratefulheart-carin.blogspot.com/2008/07/natures-wonders.html
Love your creations!
