It is time to start preparing those fun treats for family, friends, & co-workers don't you think?
Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had gorgeous weather like we did here in the northeast today. It was simply beautiful. I was able to get a for an afternoon walk with a few co-workers today during lunch and enjoy the weather.
The project I am going to show you today was created with my co-workers in mind. I will be making up a bunch of these to leave on their desks for Halloween this year.
These treat containers are called Sour Cream containers because the resemble sour cream containers! I never saw a sour cream container that looked like this – but I will take 'their' word for it!
I started with a sheet of Designer Series paper cut to 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch. Put red sticky strip on the two long sides and one short side. This will be the inside of the container. Carefully roll it up like a toilet paper roll and attach the short end to make the roll. Then pinch one end and seal it. Fill with your treat and turn the container and pinch the other end. As you can see in the picture – it is pinched on each end in different directions giving it a twisted look.
I inserted each end into my crimper and crimped the ends about 3/4".
Create a tag and you have the quickest and cutest Halloween Treat!
