Hi Everyone ~
I am so excited today. TOMORROW IS WORLD CARD MAKING DAY.
How cool is it that there is a WORLD CARD MAKING DAY?
World Card Making Day began in 2006 as a National Card Makig Day. It was designed to bring card makers together at the beginning of the busiest card-making season of the year. It was first held on October 7, 2006.
This year it is celebrating its 5th year. It is celebrated annually on the 1st Saturday in October. It is a wonderful day for the Card-Making Community (hobbyists, retailers, manufactures, & stamping business owners to unite and celebrate the connection & creativity that is the heart of card making.
To help CELEBRATE I am hosting my first WORLD CARD MAKING DAY EVENT ~
CARDS FOR THE TROOPS
October 2, 2010
at the
PUBLIC LIBRARY, EAST HANOVER. NJ
10:30am to 2:30pm
The Library is helping by co-sponsoring this event with me!
How awesome is that.
We will be making cards for all occasions to send to our troops overseas.
EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME HELP!
You don't need any paper crafting skill to help.
All cards have been pre-designed. I will be providing all the supplies.
It is a great way to give back to these men and women who sacrifice so much for our freedom!
If you live too far to attend but would like to help. You can make cards and send them to me. I would love to include them in our boxes we send.
Happy Stamping ~
