With this nice weather it is hard to stay inside and stamp. I am sorry I haven’t posted in a week. We have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather. This past weekend we did some over due yard work. We only made a dent in what has to be done. I do love being out in the yard enjoying the summer days!
I was able to get some stamping in. This Coaster Album was the project in one of my Stamper’s 10 Clubs. The one we did for the club workshop we only used 2 coasters. My friend has 4 daughters and I thought this would make a great little gift for her.
Cut paper to the size of your coasters. Adhere the designer paper to the coasters using Modge Podge. One tip I have is to adhere one side – use your sanding block to sand the sides to give it an aged look. Then adhere the paper to the other side. It is easier if you are sanding the edges to do it this way. It was for me any way. The sentiment on the front of the album is a stamp I have had forever and I don’t know the company. I will try to find it.
I punched the holes in the coasters after the designer paper was adhered.
I used the Corp-a-dial tool to punch the holes. That is an amazing tool. If you haven’t used one yet you should try it.
Stamp Set: Baroque Motifs, Expressive Flexible Phrases
Designer tab punch
organdy ribbon: green, burgundy
Just add pictures and this makes such a cute album to leave out for everyone to see!
I know that these coasters have been out and everyone has used them already. I just love to use them. There are so versatile ~ they are so much fun to play with.
