My Technique Club is introduced to 3 new techniques each month. Each month we meet (my long distant members get their technique directions with all the supplies to try the technique at home along with a 6″ x 6″ page with a finished sample of the technique on it and a brief description) and learn each technique. We apply a sample of the technique to a 6″ x 6″ page with a title and brief description. They get to make a card using the technique and also take home with all of that written directions with photos as a reference for future projects.
Last month one of the techniques was Emerging Color. 
This is the card we made using the technique.
It works best using a solid image stamp. We use Fabulous Flowers.
On Whisper White card stock we stamped the smaller flowers in the stamp set with coordinating colors. then inked the largest flower in the set with Versa Mark ink and stamped it directly over the other stamped flowers.
Using clear embossing powder we heat embossed the larger flower. As you can see all the smaller flowers we stamped emerged! How cool is that.
We then took a darker coordinating color and using the rubber brayer we covered the images.
Then wipe off the embossed area.
I then stamped in the darker color the swirls from the Priceless Stamp set to create a background.
For the card we stamped the sentiment image from Fabulous Flowers and stamped a few extra flowers and cut them out to decorate the front. We also mounted the emerging color piece to a coordinating color before mounting it to the front of the card.
This card finished to be a 5″ x 5″ square card.
This was such a fun technique that every one enjoyed. It truly has a wow factor to it.
