Hi Stampers,
Hope you are all doing well. We had a earthquake here today on the east coast. We felt it at work and I have to tell you ~ it was a weird feeling. My heart goes out to all those that have ever been in a serious situation like an earthquake, tornado, etc. I can't even imagine how scary that must be. As soon as I was able I checked in with my kids and husband. Matthew in York Pa felt it in his dorm, Samantha about a mile from me did not feel it, and my husband in Brooklyn was evacuated for a bit. I have not heard the news on it yet but I understand that there was not real serious damage. Thank God.

This is where my "Joy" reference comes from today.
Isn't this script Joy just a gorgeous font?
A couple of things on this card are from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
First is the sentiment 'Joy' is from the new Christmas stamp set ~
"The Sounding Joy". It is a great set for the Christmas season. I absolutely love it.
Second is the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder – Snow Burst! You can see I embossed the Whisper White background and left a center square smooth so that I could stamp my sentiment in the center. I love this technique.
I will be posting a video tutorial soon on that technique.
This was a simple card that was easy to do yet in person it is so rich looking! Love the way it turned out. What do you think?
