Do you spend hours picking out a gift or making that special gift? I know I do. Then I go to the Dollar Store and spend 2 seconds looking for a cheap bag to wrap it in. Or better yet – I recycle a bag someone gave me!
Yup I have this beautiful gift for that special someone and just throw it into any old bag. Well not anymore. I am going to make bags and wrappings to match my gift from now on.
How cute is this bag?
Don't look too closely at this one – it was my first and I had a fight with the Crop-a-dile and the Crop-a-dile one (only the battle – I won the war!) IF you look closely you can see that on the right of the bag is the seam. I wanted that to be the back of the bag – for obvious reasons! WELLLLLLLL
when I was using the Crop-a-dile to attach my Jumbo Eyelets (love them!) I was not paying attention to what I was doing (not the first time) and I mangled up my bag. I was heartbroken – I just love this paper and now that it was all folded up into a bag (I did all that work) I could not throw it away. Would you? No, no, no – out comes some matching card stock and ribbon and there you have it – I covered up the spot I ruined. So that is how the back became the front!!!!!!! See I told you I won the war!
There are no mistakes in stamping! Only creativity!!!!
Here are the back (where the front should have been) and the side views.
I have tons of ideas for homemade bags for the up coming Holidays. Stay tuned!
