She has brought so much joy into our lives.
I have been working on her Sweet 16 invitations and it has been a process.
We stamped and we punched and we punched some more.
We used the Big Shot and Stampin' Up! Texturz plates to emboss the Whisper White card stock we adhered to the front. And we punched some more using the Stampin' Up! Scallop Border punch on the front flap.
Samantha wanted a little bling on them so we adhered the clear crystals to the scallop edge and a tiny one to the 'S' on the scallop embellishment. Holes were punched and white organdy ribbon was inserted and tied into a knot.
We printed the invitation message on Whisper White and cut them to fit the pocket. The card does not open. The white insert you see above slips out with the invitation message.
She was very happy with how they turned out. I think we created about 125 invitations. Her friends loved them.
I am just happy they are done!
Samantha has a lot going on – today she turns '16' which means she will be getting her behind the wheel training (my baby will be driving soon!) and in a few weeks she will be making her confirmation.
