Why is being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator a good think?

We have some pretty awesome perks!

At the top of the Perk List is Pre-Ordering from new catalogs before our customers see the new catalog!!  Not only was I able to pre-order from the Holiday Catalog on August 1st, I was able to have it shipped next day air.  It arrived yesterday.

But it’s Saturday and I have a family party to go to today then the hubs and I are headed to Atlantic City tonight for a couple of days.  If you know me, I kind of have this thing with going to see the Jersey Boy himself, Frankie Valli.  I think over the past 3 years we have seen him maybe 10 – 15 times.  Is that a lot…too much to see one person is it?  Well, in my defense, we have never seen him in the same place twice !!  Last December we crossed the pond and flew to see him in the UK.  He had announced it was his Farewell Tour in the UK…I had to go.  It was my first time overseas and it was an awesome trip!  Those familiar with the UK we saw him at an arena in Birmingham.  Awesome show!!

Ok, so I am getting a little off track here, I wanted to tell you why we are headed to Atlantic City on a weekend when I have all these NEW stamps to create with…the reason is this:  If you have seen Frankie Valli in the last 10 to 20 years on stage anywhere in the world then you might have noticed that he is preforming as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.  No Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi (RIP) are not performing with him.  For well over a decade he had been performing with 4 very talented guys that just completed the show.  Their vocals are amazing.  When they were in between shows with Frankie they started performing together on their own as The Modern Gentlemen  and I of course I had to go see them.  The Modern Gentlemen have since left Frankie’s Show (which is why I said had been performing with Mr. Valli – he has replaced them with 4 other guys…still a good show….but different with out The Modern Gentlemen) and are now performing all over…because they are that good!! The hubs and I have gone to see them headline in Vegas…twice and have seen them countless times over the last couple of years as well.  NOW, the long and short of this story is that The Modern Gentlemen are performing at the Resorts in Atlantic City, New Jersey for the whole month of August!!  If you are in the area they are well worth going to see.

They are the one reason I would put off new Stampin’ Up! product for a weekend!  They really put on a great show and are a really nice group of guys.!  If you go to a show…you will have a chance to see for yourself at a meet and greet after the show.  When you go stay and meet them, tell them Annette sent you! LOL

Ok I think that’s enough for one day.  I can’t wait to ink up a few new stamps and show you some samples.  But first I have to enjoy my weekend!!  Family first, always…then stamping!!
