Well part 5 in my series of Gift Giving Made easy is this great project…
It started out as a painted white wooden framed Mirror. I used modge podge to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the frame. After it dried I sanded with our Sanding Blocks to get rid of any unwanted edges. Once that dried I took organdy ribbon scraps and created a bow/flower, layered a white flower from the Pretties Kit. I used a small flower from the same kit and use a sponge dabbed with Groovy Guava ink and colored the flower. I adhered all the layers with a Crystal brad to finish it off.
I attached this embellishment to the top corner of the frame with a pop dot.
As you can see on the bottom of the frame used some more organdy ribbon attached to the new Silver Hodge Podge hardware. I stamped Sweet on another piece of Designer Series Paper and used the oval punch to make the "Sweet" insert in the Silver Hodge Podge frame. I put a few glue dots behind the Silver frame to make sure it stayed in place.
I think it will make a wonderful gift!
SO any frame you have at home – whether it is a picture frame or a mirror frame – these is a really easy idea to dress it up.
If you need any supplies so that you can try one of these – just let me know.
I would love to see what you have created.
Hope you enjoyed this project~
Have a stampin’ good day!
