I have been getting back into the reason why I started stamping – Scrapbooking…
Well not the only reason but…I found that I didn’t really like the look of all the stickers I was putting on my pages and needed to find another way to decorate them. I had already had my hand into rubber stamping and decided I would look into finding ink that would be safe near my photos.
Stampin’ Up! has a line of Craft Inks that are perfect for stamping on your scrapbook pages. Now I am addicted to stamped images to all my pages. I love making my own headings and personalizing pages with rubber stamps.
Below is an page from Stampin’ Up! that I just love. It shows you how quick and easy a page can come together.
Instructions
1. Wheel image in VersaMark ink
on Bashful Blue textured page (6" x 6").
2. Adhere photo to page.
3. Adhere striped Designer Series paper (6″ x 3/8″)
and Wild Wasabi textured card stock (6″ x 1/4″) to page.
4. Punch circle from Real Red textured card stock
scrap using 1-1/4″ Circle punch, and adhere to page.
5. Stamp star image in Pumpkin Pie ink on Whisper
White card stock (3″ x 3″), and punch out using Large Star punch. Adhere to
page using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
6. Punch tab from Wild Wasabi textured card stock
(3″ x 3″) using Round Tab punch, and adhere behind page.
7. Journal on page using Basic Gray Stampin’ Write
marker.
I have added a new category "scrapbooking" and I am looking forward to posting many ideas, samples, and tips to it in the future. So check back often to see what’s new.
Hope you like this idea – It is not my own – this page came from Stampin’ Up!
Enjoy and let me know about your scrapbooking progress.
