Hi Everyone ~
Hope you all had a good week. I have to tell you some days I feel like I am running through my day and at the end of the day I am ready to just fall into bed. This is a feeling that I really don't like. Especially since the weather is getting nice now. I want my days to slow down so that I can enjoy all of God's beauty. It just makes me smile seeing all the flowers and the trees in bloom.
So I am promising myself to slow down in the coming weeks. Taking time to really enjoy each day. I would love to hear how you are spending your days. Are you feeling rushed through your day or have you figured out a way to slow down and enjoy your days? Comment and let me know or send me an email I would love to hear from you.
Today I would like to talk about Scrapbooking. With May being National Scrapbook Month I thought I would bring you some tips and ideas to you on preserving your family memories.
Don't you agree that nothing captures your life and your family history
quite like scrapbooking?
Photos and home movies are great and do a lot
to preserve memories, but scrapbooking takes it one step further and
gives you the chance to insert your "special touch" or personality.
It
brings your story to life in a way that only you can tell.
Over the years, scrapbooking has matured into an art. No longer is scrapbooking about pasting newspaper clippings onto paper. Today,
scrapbooks have evolved into long lasting, beautiful mementos containing
everything from news clippings to three-dimensional objects you have saved to remember a special moment.

I have found that the sweetest accents to add to a childs scrapbook page are their hand and foot prints. You can use your craft ink pads to ink up their tiny hands and feet and stamp them right onto the page!
This makes the cutest page and you have preserved their tiny prints for years to come!
I hope you have decided to start preserving you family memories. I would love to hear how you are doing that. Are you creating a family legacy album?
I invite you to leave me a comment telling me how you are preserving your family memories.
Happy Scrapping ~
