This year I will be having Thanksgiving at my home and I wanted to do something a little different for each guest. We usually go around the table and everyone talks a little bit about what they are thankful for. It has been a fun tradition and I really enjoy it but I wanted something that they could take with take with them and remember all year through that they are blessed.
I spotted this idea on the internet a few weeks again and tweaked it a bit. I had no idea what the dimensions were that they used – I just came up with my own and used their basic idea and poem.
One of these will sit by each place setting around the table. I will have paper for them to use to write their thoughts down and they will be able to take them with them. That way they will have them each and everyday to be reminded of their blessings.
I set up a mock setting so that you might see how it would look. This set of china was my Grandmothers and I just cherish it.
In this sample I am using paper napkins. You don't need fancy cloth ones if you don't have them.
I think this year as we all sit with family and friends for Thanksgiving we need to remind ourselves how blessed we are to be Americans. Times may find us all second guessing what our Government is doing. But we have to remember how blessed we are each and every day – we have a place to sleep, food, family, friends, (stamps) and much more.
Have a stampin' good day!
Enjoy.

Annette, Will you be giving the dimensions for this wonderful Thanksgiving project? I would also love to have the poem. This is totally new to me. Thank you much for sharing.
