Hi Everyone ~
Happy Monday! Don't you love Mondays?
I know so many of my Friends don't like Mondays. They say it is the start of their work week or it marks the end of their weekend. And it is and does. I am not going to deny them that truth. But I believe in putting a positive spin on things. That is what I promised to do for myself in 2010! Well actually I promised myself 2 things for 2010 – to stay in God's word so that I might strengthen my walk with the Lord this year and think positively.
So I wake up on a Monday and think – Thank you Lord that I am able to start a fresh new week today. You have forgiven me my sins and I can start anew. I looked out my window this morning and saw the sun shinning bright and thought yes – it's going to be a good day!
That is how my day started. Hope your Monday is off to a good start also.
Last night I came home from a Stamp weekend away with my Stampin' Demo Sisters. It was overloaded with old and new friends sharing their talents. I learned so much and made some INKredible projects I can not way to show you. I got so many ideas in my head I need to spend some time process them and get them all down on paper before I forget them. Then the fun will begin when I get to make all these new creations that were shared.
I will be posting them for you to see over the next month or so. It might even be longer than that – there were so many.
Today I am going to share with you a project I made – to give away as a little thank you!
They turned out so cute. I started with a little matchbook notepad. I purchased these on line. Email me if you would like to know where – I have it written down somewhere.
I embossed the cover with the new Stampin' Up! textured Impressions Folder from the Occasions Mini Catalog – Perfect Polka Dots.
Love this new Impressions folder!
You can really embellish the cover in so many ways. I chose to layer Flower Fusion flowers with a Rhinestone Brad in the center. They are attached to the cover with a glue dot. Super Simple!
You can chose any tiny sentiment you like. My suggestion is to stamp it on Whisper White card stock and cut it to fit the space. Much easier than trying to stamp it on there directly – it is are to center it doing it that way.
Here is a view of the inside of the cutest little notepad you will every see ~
How cute is that. You not only have a mini notepad but I adhered the cutest little calendar inside the cover!
These are great to keep in your purse or near your computer. You will always have paper and the date!
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you liked the project.
