Hi Everyone,
Happy Monday! What a busy weekend it has been. We picked up Matt who will be home for a week for his Spring Break. Love having him home. Yesterday we had everyone over for dinner – love having family over.
But today I am playing catch up. Doing some clean up from yesterday, chores, appointments. Most important our dog – Pepper – is having a wort removed from her eyelid. It bothers her and she is constantly rubbing that eye and by doing that she gets her eye infected. We have been applying an antibotic cream for about a week and today she was due in for the surgery.
I just received a call from the vet and Pepper did well and in recovering. We pick her up at 5pm! Can't wait to get her.
Ok – enough about my crazy day I have another Gate~fold Card to show you.
I like to call this type of card Gate~Fold with a twist~
The above picture is the card held closed by our library clips. It was the only way I could get a clear picture of the front.
Panels were embossed using the Square Lattice Folder and cut to size for each panel.
Stamped Images on the front layer piece are both from
Just Believe page #77 main catalog
item #120453 (Clear)
item # 116948 (wood)
Seam Binding Ribbon page #172 main catalog
Crumb Cake ~ item #122332
Brad in the center of bow is 3/16" Metallic Brads page #174
item #119741
NOTE: I used the antique brass one
You can see on the inside panel I stamped the floral image again in the lower right corner. I love how it turned out.
These cards are just as much fun to do as the Criss Cross cards!
Have you given them a try yet?

Wow, both gate cards are beautiful! Haven’t made one for a while,but I will now. Thanks for the inspiration. I’m going back and “rediscovering” older techniques and card folds that I loved and put aside for new ones.What’s old is new again.{wish that was true for me!}
